We need help

While “sorry” can be difficult to say, sometimes “help” is harder.

For decades I hid from this word. Even when life seemed to crumble around me, I refused to use it.

Cultural programming taught me that asking for or receiving help expressed weakness, incompetence, and lack of confidence.

I no longer subscribe to that lie.

In the desire to transform my thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors I sought counseling, coaching, and reprogramming.

Over time, asking for help has transformed from phobia to friend.

The person who's willing to ask for and receive help demonstrates strength, skill, and courage.

Give it a shot. Ask for help today.

Needing something does not mean you’re needy…

It means you’re human.
